John, LOVED THEM ALL. I bought my son an electric guitar for his birthday last summer I am now waiting to see when he can begin his lessons from one of the best, YOU. lol :-) My favorite is "I Remeber You" and "Sims' Song". Would love to know how the concepts of these songs came to mind. While listening to I Remeber You I could imagine me singing a melody over it. Maybe some day soon. We should do a Collabo!!

- Jaicee, Nashville, TN

Well, I am writing to say "Thank You" once again for the CD and I was able to listen to it in its entirety. I most like Sim's Song, the music is just moving and engaging in a soothing way. I must say that 180 Proof sure is kinda hard. You did a good job and I wish you all the best in the upcoming recordings.

- Elizabeth Oduor, Euless, Texas

"I Remember You" was my favorite piece. It spoke to my spirit. The piece took me to a place of romance. I believe this song will reach masses in the world either as an instrumental or with vocals. It is a wonderful masterpiece.

The entire CD was well written. You are a true artist.

I loved " Cry of the Gypsy". The interesting part is that I am usually not a fan of rock. I was listening to it and had co-workers stopping by my desk asking me what I who was playing that awesome sound. They were getting into it. Evidenced by the way their heads were banging as they walked away.

- Darlene Jones

- Louisa - Your #1 Fan, Arlington TX

Posted 12-21-06

John,

The sound tracks I have listened to are absolutely fantabulous!!!!!! I can’t wait to get my copy so that I can hear the entire soundtrack. Snake Bit is absolutely off the chain. Keep up the good work. Would love to hear you do some Christmas songs as well. Please let more music roll out rather than just one a year. You are to good not to put out more than that.

Thanks, John. You are an inspiration to all musicians everywhere.

- Verinda, Mansfield TX

Posted 12-14-06

John,

Congratulations on a job well done. Not too many artists can say they have been involved in the production of every aspect of their CD. John is one of the very few who have imagined, developed and completed each piece of his own work. I have been lucky enough to have listened to both of John's CDs from start to finish many times.

His latest CD Marshall Law is even better than his last. I like all of his songs, Its not about Love, is my favorite. I think the only thing better than listening to his CDs would be to hear him play live. Maybe I will get lucky enough someday. Keep up the good work John.

- Laura T., Chicago, Illinois

Marshall Law Review: John Davis' Gypsy Blues and Marshall Law CDs are a great tribute to man and guitar. It's a powerful demonstration of using today's technology in creating full band sounds.
