Offering Acoustic Guitar, Electric Guitar, Electric Bass and Keyboard lessons in your home or mine for just $30 an hour.

I teach beginner and advanced lessons for ages 8 - Adult. Rates are $30 for a full hour.

1. I offer a complete progressive guitar instruction package, starting with the basics of the guitar, keeping it in tune, chord building, basic scales, proper technique and learning the basic music theory behind the instrument.
2. Also, I have more than 25 years experience in guitar repair, live concert playing, studio recording, music marketing, music video marketing, CD Production and online media. So you don't get JUST a guitar lesson from me. I can offer you advice on many different music guitar topics and specific music production information.
3. My course program is designed with specific goals tailored to your individual needs. Whether it be just one lesson on warm-up drills to advanced soloing techniques, I can provide you concrete strategies to achieve your goals.

Education:

• Associate Degree: Music - San Antonio College
• Bachelor of Arts Degree: Graphic Arts and Marketing - University of Texas at Arlington

Experience:

• Former Music and Guitar Instructor - Northstar High School • Arlington, Texas.
• 30 year professional band experience and five studio CD recordings.
• Former guitar repair and set-up man - Music Makers • San Antonio, Texas.

My course program objective is giving you the building blocks to play your instrument with the designed goal of creating and recording your own original music or live performance.

Song construction building blocks include the following:

• Warm-up drills - Improving your technique and accuracy in your playing.
• Rhythm Tracks - Getting your backing tracks tight with chord building.
• Lead Soloing - Looks at speed drills, advanced scales, playing outside the "box" ect...
• Improvisation - Showing the basics of playing improvised scale positions in key.
• Music Theory - Basic and Advanced focusing on song construction and Circle of 5ths.
• Song Writing - Chord progressions, solos, and melody lines written in specific key structures based on the Circle of 5ths.
